Buggy Board or Double pushchair

Hi all,

I am expecting out second child in May. My first DC will be around 27 months when their younger sibling will be born. I have seen a pushchair I like but it would mean my DD will need a buggy board. My DD can be a bit of a wild child and sometimes on walks just starts rolling around on the path when she doesn't have her own way (whilst using reigns). This makes me think maybe a double pram would be better? I keep taking her out for walks so hopefully she will better with it. What did you do for your children with a similar age gap?

Many thanks.

We had a 23 month age gap and a double pushchair was a godsend. Couldn’t get on with a buggy board, I was always tripping up! Also my eldest liked to nap in the buggy until they were 3.5… buggies are also good on holidays for tired children and long walks

17 month gap here and definitely recommend a double buggy. It’s nice being able to strap in the older child when having a tantrum or too tired to walk/give a snack. I have an out n about nipper double and it’s brilliant.

For the first few months when baby was small I put him in the sling when out and toddler in a single buggy.

I'm due number 2 and will have a 25 month gap.

We've just ordered an out n about nipper double after extensive research! I second the previous poster about buggy boards.
I'm quite tall and tried a few with my son and really hurt my back trying to get the right angle to push it.

If you open a Very account it's 30% off at the moment.

Definitely a double. Baby jogger they are great and easy to fold, I am I childminder and so have gone through a lot of buggies. X

Thank you for your replies. I think a double is the best option for us atm.

Agree that the babyjogger double is the best, we’ve had a few
