Probably been asked before but....

What are your recommendations for a pram or stroller for 3 years olds.

Currently have a Joolz Day pram which has been awesome but feel like my DD has outgrown it.

We love going for daily walks - and sometimes need the pram if it's a long one or she just wants to grab her snack and have a seat Smile

Price not a concern. Practical and good size - my DD is 100cm tall.

I've seen Bugaboo seats but not sure if they are long enough.

Please send me you recommendations...

My tall 3 year old is very comfy in both out Bugaboo Bee and Silver Cross Reflex. I prefer the Bee as I think she sits better in it, plus the foot rest is better.

Thanks @voxnihili I will check out the bugaboo

Hi
I would go for a baby jogger or out and about x

I have the Silver across Reflex for my tall 15kg 3 year old. It’s great, the seat is quite large so he’s still very comfortable in it. It’s a bonus that his feet can hang below the step without them getting in the way of strolling, also if I put the leg rest up it’s strong enough to hold his legs still and that keeps his feet well away from the wheels. It is a bit heavy now though. I’d probably go for the Zest stroller as it’s lighter and I think the seat is the same size?

I am considering switching to a second hand Out and About to see if it’s easier to push. Any posters know how this fares with a long 3 year old? I don’t know if it’s worth it, given his age, but I don’t drive so I’m trying to make my life easier.

It depends what you want it for? LOng walks or town etc. I brought an out and about for my DD when she was about 2 and it was amazing. I also had a silver cross pop that was lovely too but more for going into town

I had a yo-yo but ds escaped. So I got a silver cross pop, he still escapes but I use it for travelling as it's sturdier and takes longer for ds to escape especially when I do it tightly/ In the end, I got a baby jogger city mini gt and it's perfect for us. My ds is also quite tall and almost 3 but is much more comfy in the baby jogger.

More for on long walks rather than town...

With Covid I don't really take DD into busy town centres or shopping centres...

I love the look of the bugaboo bee ..just wondering if she would be comfortable in the seat...she's 100am tall...

We have an out and about and my 5 year old still kicks his brother out and jumps in at times so I would recommend that. When they were younger there were times both sat in together on in front of the other and it still pushed easily.

Out n about nipper for long walks, no doubt. 3 wheels and air tyres. I got one because my 4 wheel travel system and 4 wheel strollers just didn’t work for walks. You need something off-road suitable. Very light and manoeuvrable too :)
