Parent facing 3 wheeler?

Looking for the above - can only find the Jane Trider which seems excessively long?? I will probably not be actually running with it, but we do a lot of woodland walks and I've found a 3 wheeler best for that.

We had a (probably 4th-hand) nipper360 which I loved but got so many punctures, very tiresome (and impossible to steer with a puncture).

So was looking at the little nipper, which looks to be a great size but really want parent facing option! Also looked at the Mountain Buggy swift which again looks the right size, but only outward facing and poppable tyres!

You can use carrycot and car seat with both, but obviously only for a few months.

Thanks!

I loved my Jane trider, used one for my first two girls then sold it and bought another when I had another child and then used it for the 4th!

Good off roader and good to run with!

Matilda1981 · 19/11/2021 13:20

Just to add I used the lie flat car seat as well which was invaluable!

Soubriquet · 19/11/2021 13:20

I had the nipper360 and I put slime in the wheels so I didn’t get a puncture and that works

I’m not sure you can get a parent facing 3 wheeler really

FTMbg · 19/11/2021 13:25

We have a Cosatto Giggle 2 which is great but I wouldn't take it off road.

WhatAWasteOfOranges · 19/11/2021 13:29

We’ve got the mountain buggy swift and if you have the carrycot plus you can make it parent facing up to about a year

My iCandy peach all terrain may fit the bill, we went all around the country with it first time around, it’s done beaches, woodland, mountains and is now perfectly serviceable for my second 😊

LulusMiniEgg · 19/11/2021 13:56

The only one I can think of is iCandy all terrain. There is the option to use it with 4 wheels too.
Buy this week it’s on sale everywhere!

Ooh thank you all, loads to look at and good point about Black Friday! I’m sure I came across one which you could flip the normal seat part but maybe it was a dream!

Mountain buggy urban jungle, we’ve had ours for 6 years. We’ve only ever had 3 punctures and have now slimed the tyre.

The carrycot and infant seat are both parent facing and then it goes world facing when they grow out of that which is as about 14-15 months for us.

WakeUpLockie · 19/11/2021 14:01

Tell me more about sliming the tyres…

You need a bottle of slime, pop it in the tyres via the valve (you need to remove the valve core with a little tool they give you), pop the core back in, pump them back up and off you go. I have slime in my Mountain Buggy Duet and my single 360, never had a problem with punctures since I did them, before slime I was having regular problems as I do lots of off road walking with the babies.

Soubriquet · 19/11/2021 14:25

Halfords will also do it for too. You might have to pay (I didn’t) but they will pop some slime in there and pump them up too

WakeUpLockie · 19/11/2021 15:15

Wow! That's awesome thanks!

Just discovered mountain buggy have a carrycot plus which converts into a parent facing seat, so the swift might be the one for us! Will get the wheels slimed!

Many thanks.

Infababy Ultimo is a 3 wheeler all terrain with a seat that can be placed either way.
Might be worth a look?

Caspianberg · 24/11/2021 18:09

We have a mountain buggy swift. The carrycot parent facing seat converts the carrycot to parent facing seat. We have the aerotech tyres so no punctures
