Keeping baby warm

Hi all,

Recently moved my 4 month old from pram to buggy. He absolutely hates wearing a snowsuit and mittens and will just about tolerate a hat (still with some crying). I'm currently dressing his as normal with a vest, long sleeve top, leggings and sock and then wrap him up in a thick fleece cardigan, hat and a thick fleece blanket. I still worry he's not warm enough especially as it's still going to get colder.

Any tips?

Thanks,
Hannah

Yes. I was given This advice and it was totally brilliant. Dress the pushchair not the child. Get one of those sleeping bag things that attach to buggy. It zipped up right over his head if needed. So much better than putting uncomfortable layers on baby then taking them all off if you go in a cafe or a change a nappy and fighting them all back again. I had a Stokke with a super warm built in sleeping bag cover thing and baby was pretty much just in babygrow maybe a cardigan too but warm at toast if we went out side in the snowy New York winter. A good one is Not cheap but just brilliant.
