PLEASE HELP with choosing a pushchair

So, my daughter will be 2 and a half when my baby is born and I cannot find a pushchair that will carry both a forward facing seat AND baby seat/chair. I was considering a buggy board but a don't drive because of medical reasons.. meaning I walk everywhere and places that are too far for her to be stood nicely for as long as I'd need her to.

Please can someone give me some suggestions and possibly photos if you have one yourself? I'd really appreciate that :) x

Hi @StressedButBlessedx

We had a Babystyle Oyster max tandem buggy which can take a baby seat along with normal seats, if you Google it you'll see the different combinations. I'm not sure if it's still available but there are some on ebay etc. I bought mine from Gumtree 300 miles away (pre lockdown!!) and I never regretted it. My eldest would stand on the bottom bar when he was older which is useful for shorter trips. We had a standard single buggy before this one and the difference was amazing; I loved pushing the tandem around and still miss it!! HTH x

Why not alternate between your daughter walking and standing on the board? How far away are the places you travel to?

Just take a sling. Let dd walk with baby in her old pushchair then when she gets tired pop the baby in the sling and her in the seat.

Oh I agonised over this with similar age gap coming up, had a couple of great threads on here full of help.
I wanted something that I could strap DD into if she was being a plonker so ruled out buggy board. I wanted something that would take DD and a car seat for popping to shops etc (I found putting the car seat on the frame really useful with DD). I also have a sling and a lovely single pushchair so therefore just wanted a second hand double to bridge the gap.

I went for a Phil and Ted's Vibe in the end as it takes car seats and there was a lovely one for sale nearby. I like the different combos it offers with DD walking and baby in sling as well as both strapped in. I'm not sure I'll use the baby cocoon thing for napping as that will more likely happen in the single pushchair (with DD walking) or in the sling (with DD walking or in the single chair). But for popping to the park/shop/doctors I think it will do what I need and if it doesn't I should be able to sell it for the same money.

I did also look at the Maxi-cosi Dana for 2 which is a side by side that takes a car seat but I couldn't find one local enough, if I hadn't found the P&T though I'd have kept looking.
