Baby almost outgrown bugaboo bee carrycot will a cacoon help?

Hi this may be a silly question, but I have no idea how cacoons work for pushchairs. Our new baby is only 8 weeks old and seems to have almost outgrown his new bugaboo bee carrycot. I was hoping it would last until he was 6 month, so he could lie flat. He is quite a long baby! Does anyone know if the cacoon for the bugaboo bee is likely to accommodate a longer baby than the carrycot. I don't really want to spend even more money, but if it will allow him to lie flat until he six months I will.

Thank you xx

From google, the cocoon is 32 inches long, while the carrycot is 80cm long (31.5in) so barely anything in it. Having said that, one of the recline positions for the stroller is flat, so I would use the stroller without either if it's just for short journeys (say 30 mins)

@hulahoopqueen Thank you that is really helpful. I feel very silly for not looking at the measurements.

Although he might be long and looks snug, I think these smaller carrycots areas designed to be snug.
As as idea, my 12 month old is on 75% for height, so fairly tall, and he was measured 78cm a few days ago. He was 53cm born and was 62-65cm really fast (about 2 months).
So their growth spurts slow down, and even now at 1 year he could technically still squeeze in. So you should be able to get 6 months easily

But the bee lies flat anyway so you can use main seat from birth if needed.

@Caspianberg Thank you, yes maybe I panicked unnecessarily, he just seemed to be filling it very quickly, but looking at the growth curves in the red book he will probably slow down!

Both of boys outgrew the carry cot by 8 weeks. Eldest outgrew the moses basket by 11 weeks and I didn't even waste my time putting my youngest in the moses basket. Both were very long babies. Does the pushchair not fully recline?
