I need help and advice from please. I have been offered a silver cross linear freeway and would like your thoughts on this pushchair. We look after our grandson 2 days pw who is very tall for his age and really uncomfortable in his stroller. We walk everywhere with him in all weathers , so need good protection against the elements. Also grandad is 6ft6in tall, and finds the stroller wrecks his back and very uncomfortable. I havent seen it, but in the pics it look very sturdy. Does anyone have one and do you recommend it. Thanks

I haven’t experience in that model, but it does look like an older style more suited for smaller babies with less adjustments of handle height and a heavier set style frame.

It might be worth trying if it is free to see how you find it, but it wouldn’t be my choice for something lightweight, with high handle for an older toddler.

Do you need something to be able to go in you car sometimes? Or is the folded size not important? Do you just need it for regular paths?

The mountain buggy urban might be worth trying to get off Facebook marketplace. They come up quite often, especially if your happy with older models. They generally have high handle height, good raincover ( can buy new if needed), and easy to push heavier weight child due to larger wheels.

Oh , thanks for the info. I will defiantly look into the Urban. I can keep the stroller if we need to pop somewhere in the car. We are big walkers and use a backpack for him if hiking but need the pushchair for walking to town, supermarket, etc. 3-5 mile round trip.

Second mountain buggy urban! Love my one, so much easier to push with bigger DC and works on all sorts of terrains! Smile

I had the linear sleepover many years ago. I loved it. The handle height is adjustable, but im only 5ft1 and dcs dad less than 6ft so no idea what its like for taller people.

I had the linear freeway and found it bulky and difficult. Ended up getting a graco evo instead.

Goodness, so many things to take into consideration. I really appreciate all the replies to my post . Thought my days of researching buggies were long gone!😃
