Nuna Mixx with carrycot or without

Hi everyone,

We are planning to buy a Nuna Mixx for our baby due in January, and we are not sure if we need to buy the carrycot as the description says the fully reclined seat is suitable from birth.

Does anyone have any experience? How comfortable is it for the baby to be strapped in at that age (we are first time parents).

Thanks for the help! :)

We had a Nuna for our little boy born last year. We bought the full travel system and used the carrycot dearly everyday for about 5 months. I personally wouldn't have gone straight into the pram seat. I used it occasionally in the house for longer for naps to as it was so comfortable. Also the car seat is still in use as he still fits in it. For what the whole system cost us it has been fantastic value

Likewise- we’ve loved the nuna mixx. Great value for money but definitely wouldn’t have done without the pram. My daughter napped fantastically in the pram, and I could leave her napping without strapping her in (which you would have to do with the seat). If you look for a bundle you can get the pram and car seat for really good deals (car seat is fab too!!)

Get the bassinet. January is a cold month and you will want baby to be as snug as possible.

Thanks a lot for all the useful advice! We will go with the carrycot definitely :)
