Oyster 3 problem

Hi all!

I bought an Oyster 3 when I was pregnant and was delighted with all its features. Now a days when I’m using the chair rather than the carrycot, I’ve found the most annoying issue and I keep wondering if there’s something wrong with it or if it’s just something I need to learn how to live with (bloody angry if that’s the case after paying a grand for it!)

My LO is only 3 months old but has already outgrowth the carrycot. I am aware that the chair can be used since it lays flat. The issue is that the calf rest buttons seem to snap and break every time I push it upwards by accident (taking shopping off the basket, taking the rain cover off, moving the changing bag, etc). The shop has replaced said button twice and they’re offering a third replacement. I’ll take it but it seems like a proper fault if it keeps happening.

Has anybody else had the same issue with their oyster 3? I’m so put off by it now. It just feels like it’s made of crystal and I’m gonna break it all the time. Not to mention when by baby is a bit older, this seems like it’s going to be a common occurrence!!!
