Fault with Mountain Buggy

Has any one had an issue with the mountain buggy duet breaking? I got one second hand from someone who has it for 2 years and after 4 months the frame that attaches the wheels has snapped? I've not even been using it for the terrains it says it can go on. just around parks and foot paths.
Im new to mumsnet and not sure how to add an image to show what I mean.

Hmm I don’t have the duet, although we did buy a secondhand swift and it was rather wobbly! Easily felt as though it could collapse at any second or break without DC in, let alone when it’s actually being used (and this was in the house!). Luckily managed to return it as we noticed the fault rather quickly and weren’t about to loose £150 for a broken pram ffs
