Help with cameleon 3 canopy?!

Does anyone know why this bugaboo 3 extendable sun canopy is collapsing when u extend it like the pic shows ? Does it normally do this or is there meant to be a rigid rod inside the canopy there ? Thanks!

Take it off and completely put back together again would be my suggestion as looks like you've gone wrong somewhere. Maybe where it joins on the buggy?

It does look like there's a rod missing from it. How many did you put in?
