Parent facing all terrain

Hi! Does anyone know of / can recommend a parent facing all terrain pram?

We have a jané trider, which we love. Has been a great workhorse fir 5 years, but the break handle thingy has snapped.
I’m going to see if there is anyway to fix it. But I was just wondering what my other options are if that’s not possible.
We need it to be parent facing & able to track along the beach, fields etc.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
TIA

I've been looking at all terrain and every recommendation I've had back is for bugaboo buffalo (preloved), fox/fox 2 or Icandy peach all terrain. The baby jogger gt2 has been recommended to me too but it's not parent facing x

Icandy peach a good option. Or the Mountain Buggy terrain has a parent-facing option, but I don't think it lasts very long (in terms of child age/weight).

TeddyIsaHe · 26/05/2020 08:53

How old is your child? The mountain buggy is great, but depends on how big they are.

midnightstar66 · 26/05/2020 09:46

Phil and teds is an amazing all terrain but the parent facing attachment doesn't last long so depends what age you want parent facing til

Wtfdidwedo · 26/05/2020 10:07

Out mountain buggy is incredible but the only parent facing option is the carrycot up to about 6 months.

Pandapotato · 26/05/2020 11:25

Thanks for all the replies!
Baby is 7 months and huge! So the parent facing Phil and teds or mountain buggy won’t cut it.
Been looking at the buffalo. ££££ ouch! Also the icandy peach, but it doesn’t seem to have suspension like the others. Has anyone used one and can tell me how good it is off road?

Really appreciate your replies, thanks.

@Pandapotato the Icandy peach comes with a normal and all terrain version - is it the all terrain you've been looking at? Icandy seats seem smaller than bugaboo though.

Buffalo isn't available new anymore, but you could pick up a great deal on 2nd hand. X

Bugaboo. Pick up a buffalo second hand

Pandapotato · 26/05/2020 13:14

Thanks @wannabebump, will have a look at the all terrain peach. I’ve been looking a bit aimlessly & hadn’t realised that there are 2 versions.

Definitely leaning that way @2007Millie. Looking at eBay now. Just hope we can find one with postage as we live in the sticks!

Just thought I’d come back to this and say that jané have sent us a part to fix our trider. Completely free of charge, despite the pram being long out of warranty. Excellent customer service.
Just need to wait for the bike shops to open as they have the right tools apparently.

Have you tried www.pramsy.com

I recently got my iCandy from there and very impressed! It’s free postage too x

midnightstar66 · 29/05/2020 10:03

Are there not any bike shops open? Ours remained open round here as they are classed as an essential service. Halfords definitely open

Pandapotato · 29/05/2020 10:25

Thanks for the Halfords tips @midnightstar66. Our local bike shops is closed. Will try them.
