Silver Cross Pioneer 11 Bundle Platinum or Baby Style Prestige Nimbus Grey?

Hello,

I’m stuck between two prams and I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences of owning these prams.

Silver Cross Pioneer 11 bundle - I’ve seen some reviews online that the carrycot is quite small and the front wheels often buckle.

BabyStyle Prestige Nimbus Grey - there’s not as many reviews online for this one, but from what I have read, it can be quite difficult to manoeuvre and doesn’t feel too robust.

I’m leaning towards BabyStyle, but don’t want to rule out Silver Cross as it appears to be a good and popular brand.
So any reviews would be very helpful.

I don’t own a silvercross but I did try ones out when I was shopping in mothercare and John Lewis. I found them hard to steer, bulky and generally not what I thought they would be for all the hype and for the cost.
I have a friend who has a silvercross pioneer and it is horrific to push compared to my iCandy.

Thankfully the shop that we are going to buy them from is open for private appointments so I can try them, but want to be in there for as little amount of time as possible and therefore want an idea of what we want!

I think after your message and other reviews, I’m leaning towards the BabyStyle one!

I’m pretty sure my friend who is due soon has bought a babystyle travel system. She seems to think it’s really good.
I’m glad your getting to try before you buy.
I had my heart set on a bugaboo before I actually went to John Lewis and mothercare! Just wasn’t for me though.

Oh that’s good she seems to like it! I think it looks fab!
Unfortunately the place we were going to go and try has changed to only virtual appointments. Not too helpful when wanting to physically try! We’ll just have to wait and see!

I don’t know if you’ve looked at iCandy, but I can highly recommend the peach.

I have a SilverCross Pioneer and absolutely love it, use it everyday and have for the past 15 months. We used the carry cot until he was 6 months when he started to pull himself up to sitting in it. The front wheels on mine have never buckled and I find it a dream to steer and personally don’t find it bulky. My son would live in it if he could, and since he was born he’s often decided that the only place to sleep was the pram, even now he will go to his pram when he’s tired (and may have slept in the pram last night because he wouldn’t leave it without screaming). We live on the 2nd floor and have to carry it upstairs every day and it’s easy to fold down, wouldn’t change it for the world.
