Small wheels on double buggies - does it make a difference?

Looking for a cheap double for DD1 & DD2. DD1 will be 15 months when DD2 arrives.

I’ve had a few recommendations which has been really helpful but I’ve noticed that some of the pushchairs have really small wheels.

I have a Cosatto Giggle 2 which is really easy to push (although that’s just DD1) and has nice big wheels. My MIL said to not get a double as it’s “back breaking” (although she last used one about 28 years ago)

So do smaller wheels on the pushchair make a difference? I do a lot of walking.

There doesn’t seem to be any shops now where you can actually look at them and try them out Sad

Yes it makes a difference, the bigger the wheels the easier it will be to push.

You want air filled tyres for a double. Makes a massive difference. I'd get a second hand Nipper out n about or a Phil and Teds for a gap like that.
