What strollers would you recommend to someone?
We will need one in the very near future, but being as mothercare are having a massive sale, thought it may be best to get one now.
I don't want one that is too bulky, as I may as well carry on using my travel system if that is the case. Looking for like an umbrella collapse style, or the ones that fold up quite small.
Needs to go up Pavements with ease (I LOVE my wayfarer, but a pain getting up and down pavements/bumps)
Needs to be able to recline for little one to sleep, and have a good size hood for sun protection. In an ideal world a adjustable handle, but I know many don't have that option.
I don't like the 'funky' pattered strollers and I don't like the really compact ones designed for air travel, as they appear a little flimsy when I've had a try out in the shops...so feel like they just wouldn't last with daily use.
I've been looking at silver cross and McClaren, Joie, chicco but complete open to suggestions, hence my post!
It will be used for going around supermarkets, shopping, on country lane walks, and around country parks as some examples. We have a silver cross wayfarer atm which is a good pram, but on some walks doesn't handle the terrain if for instance there is pot holes or a bumpy surface.
