Umbrella fold buggy for forest walks

Currently have mountain buggy duet for my 2.5 and 13 month old. Bought 2nd hand and has been well used and fit for everything. My only issue is that it takes up the full boot meaning the dog can't join us on walks unless in walking distance from home. Most walks involve pottering along with the eldest walking most if not all of the time. I also have sling for youngest as an option. So think could use a single buggy and maybe buggy board? It would have to be able to fit across the footwell in the back of the car but be good across all terrain. Would probably look to pick it up 2nd hand as won't get an awful lot of use.

Any suggestions?

No ideaI'm afraid as I'm looking for the same so thought I'd bump. Someone mentioned a Phil and ted sport if you take the wheels off. I have a friend who has one so I'm going to try it.
