Bugaboo Cameleon 3 or 3 Plus?

I hope someone with more knowledge than me can help me out. We have a Cameleon 3 that someone’s very kindly lent us to use with our 3 month old. I do like it but they how need it back so I went to look at prams yesterday and the saleswoman was keen on the newer 3 plus model. But to me it looks a bit, I hate to say it, cheap? I really don’t like the supposed improvements they’ve made and it seems much more stripped back than the Cameleon 3 we’ve been using. The basket is a PITA to access while we’ve been using the carrycot I’ll admit, but the newer basket looks like it wouldn’t hold much anyway. I do prefer the leather style handle as the foam one seems to make my hands sore. Hated the newer flimsy hoods though I understand I can buy an old style one to fit. They had a bargain ex display 3 plus so I’m after quick opinions if anyone has experience of the two? I’m torn between buying the 3 plus brand new and getting a 2 year guarantee or buying a probably second hand Cameleon 3.

You can get a Cam 3 with leather handles and without the other 3+ improvements. I’m selling mine which is a limited edition Cameleon 3 Blend model - it has leather handles (I suspect as it was a special edition) but the hood is the sturdier sort!
