Sheepskin liner

Hi, I'm looking at buying the sheepskin liner from mothercare. I love the idea of it getting baby cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I just want to check if its really going to be suitable for winter? Will I need a footmuff come that time of year? Or will a sheepskin liner and blanket or 2 be okay?

IME you'll need a footmuff too. They kick blankets off too easily.

Agree blankets useless as get kicked off. Get a zipped sheepskin footmuff - the zip goes all the way round and zips off so you have just the liner in summer then reattach footmuff when gets colder

Unfortunately a full zipped sheepskin footmuff is going to be a bit out of our budget. :'( So it will have to either get a sheepskin liner or a fleece footmuff. I should've mentioned, the pushchair I bought does have an apron cover. Will it be okay to have a sheepskin liner, baby, blanket or 2 then apron cover which should stop blanket falling off? Or is a footmuff a definite must for winter?

Mine did OK with sheepskin liner and blanket with apron. Lo was 6mths old come autum, liked to be warm and snug

Thank you bedtimestories, did you find the liner did do a good job of keeping them warm in the winter? Any points you felt a footmuff would of been better or was a sheepskin liner and blanket always fine?
I'm probably over thinking it!

Liner and blanket was fine, when we had snow I did put an extra blanket in for school run which took an hour round trip. I was given more blankets than I needed
