Oyster buggy board for hybrid?

Hi all, does anyone use a buggy board on their BabyStyle Hybrid? I’d like to buy one and would prefer the oyster buggy board as it doesn’t seem to stick out too far but can’t see anywhere online whether it will fit my hybrid. Can anyone help? Or even, at the risk of being super cheeky, measure the circumference of the oyster chassis where it attaches?!
Thanks in advance!

Hi, just wondering if you managed to get a buggy board for the hybrid as I have one too.
Many thanks

Morning, I ended up with a Red Kite universal one. It fits quite well and with a bit of fiddling you can fold it underneath the seat when it’s not being used. If you use the seat height increasers it will fold straight over. The only thing that was awkward was the strap for holding it up off the floor when the basket’s full. The clip on the one provided is really stiff and the actual strap isn’t quite long enough if you have the handle bar extended so I now use a dog lead instead!

Ps the oyster buggy board doesn’t fit, the axel is too thick x

How do you both rate the hybrid?

I love mine, mainly because it’s so light and the seat and carrycot are so much bigger than other brands. I used it as a tandem when my youngest was born and managed to have the cot on the top facing me with my 2 year old snuggled underneath facing forwards! I don’t think you’re meant to use it like that but she loved it. My rather large baby stayed in the carrycot until she was 7 months old and toddler was ready to move onto a buggy board which also meant I didn’t have to buy an extra seat unit. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer them if I can as I know there aren’t many reviews online other than the few blog posts x

hethajf how did you manage that? Had you bought the extra wheels bit? What age did you use it as a tandem until?

Good to hear the seat and carrycot are large as my last dc was 8lb9 and outgrew carrycot of pram by 5 months

Thanks for replying, I will look into the red kite buggy board. Been a nightmare trying to research one lol x

I love the hybrid too. I'm only 4ft 6 1/2, (that half is very important when your only little lol), but my husband is 5ft 9 and we can both comfortably use the pushchair. Although I can't see over the top of the seat unit properly if we use the height increasers. We also use it as a tandem and find it good to push compared to some others. Would definately recommend x

tinylynz I am about 5 foot so good to know it is good for short people Grin

What age toddlers are people using this pram with as a tandem?

hethajf · 27/04/2019 08:25

My oldest was 2 and a half when youngest was born. She’s very tall for her age but still fit the seat unit fine. She’s was 3 in March and tends to use a buggy board now but she still fits in the seat fine if her legs get too tired and says it’s very comfy x
