Double buggy or buggy board?

Hi all, in August will have a newborn and 21 month old. I have the bugaboo fox and have ordered the saddle board but will I need a double buggy? Am conscious that they'll both need to nap at times and also worried 21 month old will not sit still on saddle board. Any help would be amazing. Also if double buggy needed - which is best? Lots of people say mountain duet?? Thank you

I was in the same position as you back in July (well, I had a 19 month old and newborn) and now my baby is 6 months old, I've swapped out single for a double (Mountain Buggy Duet). It's ace.

The 2 year old still needs a nap and a rest and my 6 month old is getting too heavy to carry so so a single pram with or without a buggy board wouldn't have worked for us.

Get a double. I have a 19 month age gap and the double was absolutely invaluable to me for a really long time. We bought a second hand Phil and Teds and it was great, I would highly recommend it.

There's one, I want to say icandy orange but it's been a while since I looked so I'm not sure, which is a double buggy with integral buggy board. FWIW I have a friend with a 16 month gap between her two and she didn't get value for money out of her double - used a buggy board from early on as her DD prefers it. I think they did a sling/carrier for the newborn then double buggy when the younger outgrew the sling.
