Hello all!

First time mum with no idea, and too many ideas at once.
I have been researching buggies for a month now and no smarter. Moved away from travel systems as wont need all the bits and bobs.

I know so many people had similar problems, but hey, maybe someone will have some more insight...? Thank you!

I do know what (I think) we need:

  • budget (we will carry baby quite a bit - wrap, sling etc. and as an active couple hope to walk with the baby asap, haha!) - up to £300 (sales on ATM seem to make it a bit more doable) plus probably £150 for a safe car seat (crazy??)
  • suitable from birth
  • good for dog walks - off road from time to time (but again, we can carry baby too on those more exciting walks, so does not have to be a proper 'mountain buggy'/jogger)
  • doesn't have to be crazy small (we have a bit bigger car and wont really use public transport as we walk where we can- small city!)
  • would consider second hand - thoughts? Its our first baby though and I feel slightly emotional about it haha - what should I look out for if looking for second hand?

Initial ideas:

Britax Agile 4
Baby Jogger City (not a fan of no parent-facing option or shiny exterior)
Maxi Cosi Zelia (cannot find many opinions?)
Cyber Balios S (a bit more pricey - worth it?)
Recaro City (not okay off road?)

I like simple, no chrome, no shine buggies (but thats crazy talk on top of everything else).

HELP.
