My mother in law has offered to buy our ten month old a new pram for his Xmas as he really needs very little else. I currently use our travel system when out walking (kinderkraft moov.. it’s been great but it’s bulky with carrycot attachment when in car etc) I also have an old Quinny zapp from when I had ds1 which is great for keeping in car boot but has no lie flat setting and ds doesn’t look particularly comfortable in it.
With ds1 after our silver cross travel system gave up the ghost I used a series of cheap strollers which all broke one way or another before settling on the quinny zapp for occasional use as he was mostly walking everywhere. I would like to get a robust stroller which is good for walking as I don’t drive mostly but which is also compact enough to fit in a car boot alongside shopping etc! Selfishly I would also like one that looks nice. My travel system is a lovely grey with brown leather trims and looks smart.
I’ve been looking at baby jogger city (looks sturdy but ugly)
Mamas and papas armadillo (looks like a slightly cheaper version of city jogger)
My babiie strollers (various.... worried they look lovely but maybe flimsy?)

Any other recommendations I can look into? I have used a silver cross pop which I borrowed from a friend which I like as it does until 20kg and ds is a big baby but it was a bit light and flimsy feeling for long walks.

Budget under £250 if possible. Thanks!

Oyster Zero is a great pushchair that isn't umbrella fold! We sold ours and got a silver cross umbrella pram! Biggest regret of my life 😩

BJCM is great. We've had one for 6 years in daily use and it is only just on its last legs. So easy to fold and push and the seat it massive so my nearly 4 year old can still fit in it if needed.
