M&P Ocarro or Bugaboo Cameleon

Pram shopping: currently pregnant with first DC, due March 2019...

I in a village outside a main town, so will be using pram to head to local shops, dog walks (two small dogs, so nothing too rugged), popping in the car to take for trips in local bigger town and also when flying/airport transport (which I anticipate doing every 3-4 months). Must be able to deal with snow and hot weather due to local climate. I'm happy with lie flat/foot muff for colder weather for the first 6 months.

We have narrowed to the Ocarro (O) or the Cameleon (C). Pro/cons as follows:
O: 13kgs C: 10kgs
O: handwash/dab clean only C: fully machine washable
O: folds with seat in place C: have to fold in two parts
O: fully flexible seat /lie flat C: only tilt seat (baby's legs will always be bent)
O: not sure on resale value C: good resale potential
O: fully accessible basket C: basket inaccessible when carrycot in place

Any feedback on these two would be welcome, especially if you think my pros /cons can be resolved/aren't correct. Thanks in advance!

@clownstotheleft we have the same problem but with the Fox, personally wouldn't get the cameleon because I hate the basket, but my DSis has and LOVED it but she didn't really walk anywhere 'country like' the Ocarro is great because of the amazing small fold, but the Bugaboos have bigger seats and will last longer.. look them both up on YouTube and watch the videos to get a better idea, also go in store and ask M&P to demonstrate both prams x

I used the basket with the carrycot of the the Bugaboo without the issue. It has a drawstring top which is ace too

@clownstotheleft have you seen the new chameleon with the open basket? That looks much nicer 😳

I love my Cam. The 3+ basket does seem more accessible but I have the normal 3 and didn't have any major issues with the basket.

The 'biggest' thing you can fit into the basket is a bottle of milk so was completely fine for shopping, once you have the seat on you can access the basket so easily.

It's not the best in mud tbh as leaves get stuck in the wheels.

The 2 fold is slightly annoying.

The positives are fantastic though. So easy to turn (does 360 on the spot so great for small shops). Was fine on the beach.

The weight is an important factor if it's going in and out of cars or on and off buses!
