Which pushchair would you recommend to a new parent?

We're making plans to test and review new pushchairs and we'd love to know which ones you'd recommend.

There are so many options on the market, it can be hard for new parents to know which ones are really worth investing in. So if you've used a great travel system/pushchair in the last two years, we want to hear about it!

Tell us the make and model of the pushchair you rate, and why you'd recommend it to others. Your comments will help us to create a shortlist of pushchairs to test and recommend to new parents.

Also, if you have any helpful advice on what to look out for when shopping for a pushchair, we'll include it in our buyer's guide.

Thanks!

Out n about nipper. Youngest is 5 and i still miss it. I handed it on, having bought it 2nd hand and its still going strong. It's a delight to push, lies flat - tho we used a old skool carrycot for the first few months for both- and the deep hood meant we never used the rain cover. The basket was a bit shit but ours was 1st generation and i think they've improved it.

I have a Bugaboo Cameleon 3. Live in North London, walk a lot and seldom use the car. Turns easily, easy to clean, used for 4 years with DD1 (2 mile nursery walk each way for last year). Easy to take on London bus and in an area where buses come every 2 minutes usually I would happily disembark for a wheelchair user rather than fold. Bought a cheap umbrella fold for holidays and hated pushing it, wheels got stuck etc. They are fine if you spend a lot of time in the car/shopping centres etc, not much use in the park/woods in my opinion.

Cameleon has just been cleaned and prepared for baby number 2 (due in a few weeks) so I'd say it was a good buy!

Phil and Teds Dot. Amazing! Start with the carrycot, which can be lifted off with baby still asleep. Great as a single and as a double. Using the double seat at the back even when DCs no longer use it is amazing for getting so much stuff in!!
