havent concieved yet - so plenty of time, but looking at prams as it is a minefield. Wondered if any one has had any experience of the vista on buses vs the cruz ?
or if anyone else knows of a pram LIKE the vista/cruz that folds like they do (ie with the seat attached)

TIA

We went with the Cruz. Not actually used it yet though and baby isn't here. Having experienced a lot of different pushchairs with my nieces and nephew, I really appreciated the ease of a lot of the features - large basket, one handed carrycot release, easy buckle, fold.

We did umm and ahh about whether to get the vista as that wasn't much more once you factored in the carrycot. But the extra size and weight put us off. If needs be we can always buy a second hand one for baby 2. There's no guarantee that we'd ever need a double anyway.

We also looked at the M&P flip xt2 and the cybex balios s. Both have good reviews and are a bit cheaper. Mothercare stock the balios now. We just preferred the Cruz in the end. The balios is particular didn't feel as sturdy and as nice a quality. But it did have some features I preferred over the Cruz - lie flat seat, better suspension, folds with seat in either direction.

We had the uppababy vista for ds, he's almost 4 so it's the old model now but I absolutely loved it. It's really easy to push, really sturdy and has a huge basket. There are some downsides though: it's quite wide, doesn't have a one handed fold and it's quite heavy for getting in and out of cars etc and takes up quite a bit of space. For me it's worth the downsides, I've kept it for the next baby but I would buy it again if I was choosing

I also liked the ride height, dh and I are quite tall and a lot of other prams felt like the seat was really low to the floor, the vista was closer to me

We’ve used the Cruz for almost 4 years now (2 children) and it’s great. Easy to steer, can attach a buggy board, shopping basket much bigger than others.

Only issue is if you have children close together, you can’t convert the Cruz to a double. For the brief period we had two in a buggy we used a mountain buggy duet.

But if I was buying now I’d look at the i candy peach - lovely to steer and can be converted to a double if needed.

The vista has a very big chunky wheelbase and can be difficult to use in crowded places or buses.

We’ve got the vista - given by a friend. Lots of great features but I rather wish we had the Cruz because I get London buses a lot and, though it’s possible, it’s a tight squeeze and I feel like we’re getting in the way! Couldn’t get on a bus y’day because there was already one buggy and a lady on crutches in nearby seat and there was no way the monster vista would fit on! x

I can honestly recommend you Nuna Demi Grow stroller, I'm so crazy about this one. You can easily convert it into double mode. One of the greatest I've evere reviewed. Here are some pros of this stroller: removable seat liner to provide better airflow (so cool!!), 23 seating configurations, huge basket, tons of free accesorries, travel system with adapters included.
