Too old for UPPAbaby MINU

I have a 2.5 year old and a nearly 4 year old who attends preschool. ATM , school runs are done by car. I park on school road and it takes my lo 15 mins to walk it from the car to the school- when it should only take 3 mins...she picks up leaves, smells flowers, gazes around and basically dawdles. For health reasons, I’d like to leave car at home and complete school runs by walk alone. It’s a mile there. But as my 2.5 yr old takes forever walking, I’m thinking of buying a stroller and have my heart set on the uppababy minu. It’s a gorgeous stroller but I can’t help feeling so extravagant buying one ...I mean it’ll be probably be for only a year. Is a 2.5 year old too old for a stroller or will they’ll be using it until age of 4?

Maybe a cheaper version?

The fold looks great but the wheels are TINY especially with older and bigger child. Is that mile to school in a city centre with extra smooth road that has no sand or cracks or anything on the way?

Yes it’s a smooth ride to school, even the path through the woodland.
Any other stroller recommendations?

Maybe :) you want it to adapt to a bigger child, something lightweight and maybe good size lower basket that can handle 10kg+ (most can't). Anything else?
