First-time mum looking for some guidance! We're looking for something suitable from birth, but can purchase an add-on carrycot if necessary.
We need something suitable for uneven terrain (pavements and roads that are very uneven / cobbled / made of gravel / have massive kerbs, bumps and potholes etc) as well as bumpy country tracks and grass.
I need to be able to manage it alone on public transport so want something light-ish with a one-handed folding mechanism that I can fold it while holding the baby and/or lift it (folded or otherwise) up and down steps and on and off public transport. I'm petite and not very strong! (I'm keen to try a sling too but I'd like to have the option of using a buggy).
So far the only things on our shortlist to look at are the Baby Jogger City mini and City Mini GT - does anyone have any feedback on these
(is the Mini able to handle uneven terrain)? I'd also like to compare them with some other models but it's hard to find light, easily-foldable models that are also good for rough ground, both of which are essential for us. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Love the fold mechanism on the Baby Zen but I'm assuming it won't handle our terribile pavements...
