Bugaboo Fox vs Silver Cross Pioneer

Hi Everyone,

I am expecting my first at the end of September and yesterday decided it was time to start buying some stuff for the baby. We went and had a look at prams and OMGosh what a minefield!!!!

I tried quite a few out and it has come down to the Bugaboo Fox or the Silver Cross Pioneer. We live in the countryside but have good tarmac roads so doesn't necessarily need to go off roading so to speak and we have a decent size boot in the car so size isn't too much of an issue.

Any first hand experiences/opinions with these would be so much appreciated . TIA x

I have a silvercoss, either ounieer of wayfarer. Can remember but they are basically the same, mine is the one with smaller wheels. Before that I had a bugaboo gecko. The bugaboo was a pain. The silver Cross is great. Opens/closes easily, when folded away it will stand up by itself so easy to store, the basket underneath has a strong frame so my older one sometimes stand on it instead of uning a buggy board. It also carrier a lot of weight. An adult can easily sit on it while at the park for example. Irs a really solid and really easy buggy. I've put two children through it and it still looks nearly new.
