Hi all, i have had a look online and i like the uppababy vista 17 pushchair and the www.joiebaby.com/product/i-level/ car seat...

I was looking at going for a pushchair that didnt have a car seat holder on as I've read that its not good for baby to be in the car seat as it restricts breathing (one of the reasons i have chosen the car seat) but i have been told that having a travel system is a lot easier to negotiate with a sleeping baby and practicality.

I dont want to spend loads of money buying a separate pushchair and car seat holder and then wish id gone for an all in one travel system.

Any advise would be great. Thanks

The uppababy vista is fab. I have the older style and it’s lasted 2 children so far and about to do a third. I love it.
Just because it has the car seat attachment doesn’t mean you have to use it. I used ours on odd occasions but not a huge amount.

The Uppababy 2017 doesnt have car seat attachments (have to buy separately which i dont plan on doing) so it would mean me not having the option to attach the car seat to the pushchair. Did you find it an issue taking the baby out of car seat and in to pushchair?

Ah ok, I think mine came with them.
I found the car seat attachment useful for short trips out of the car when the baby was asleep, but as I said above I didn’t use it much. After 6 months she didn’t like being in the car seat on the pushchair anyway as it wasn’t upright enough so I didn’t use it at all after that.

Just had a quick look on John Lewis which is where I got mine from and the 2017 comes with car seat adaptors from there.
