If you have this pushchair what do you think of it? I'm fairly set that this is the one I want, but just wondered if anyone had any pros/ cons I might not have thought of. Thanks!

I really like it. With a bit of practice I can actually fold it with one hand, but I am weak so need two hands to then lift it in to the boot of the car. It ticked all boxes for us. Good recline options but also a nice upright seat when fully upright. Hood provides great coverage. Basket is nice and big. And the fact that you can flip the seat both directions is handy. DD still likes facing me sometimes at 16months, especially when she is tired and then I can easily see when she has dropped off.

I love mine, easy to use, big basket underneath, great hood that comes down quite far for naps. Easy to change the pram and seat attachment and to fold up and down. I haven’t tried any others for comparison but I’ve been happy with it for 20 months!

Oh that's good to hear! I loved it, but had discounted it as it was a bit pricey. Have just just discovered a mamas and papas outlet where they sell refurbished ones for a fraction of the price! So it's looking more likely we'll be able to afford one 😊

Also keep an eye in store. They sometimes have clearance ones.

Clarabell100 · 28/04/2018 21:02

We also have this pram and still love it 16 months later. When I used the car seat with it I found it quite difficult to get the seat on and off but that could have been more to do with the car seat than the pram. Also in the beginning I missed the bumper at for attaching toys to but I’d still recommend it and will use it again when/if we have another baby.

Ah yes, my car seat was a bit difficult to detach sometimes, I'd forgotten that. We had the cybex aton q. You had to push both sides at the same time but needed strong thumbs.

whoami24601 · 28/04/2018 21:27

Do you think it would be the same for all car seats, or was that specific to your one? I haven't looked at car seats yet, but the woman in the shop said it is compatible with all of them. Does the car seat sit on the pushchair seat? Or do you take that off and then attach the car seat?

You take it off then adaptors clip in where the seat attached, and the car seat clips in to the adaptors. I always assumed it was the car seat that was the issue as the buttons to release were difficult to push. Would be interesting to know if pp's car seat was the same one.

RocketPockets · 28/04/2018 21:55

Absolutely love mine! My little boy is almost 2 and we still use it. I had the cybex Aton q as well but didn't have an issue getting it on/off.
The basket doesn't distribute weight very well so it does sag a little when it's full but other than that I love it.

HappyGirl86 · 28/04/2018 22:02

I had this pram and it was great but I did struggle to get my cybex seat off. As others have said, you have to push two buttons at the same time. Bit fiddly and awkward when recovering from a c section! It is a good pram though.
Mamas and papas recalled some of them and replaced a part as there was a fault. This was over a year ago though. I'm sure the new versions are spot on!

RyanStartedTheFire · 28/04/2018 22:19

Love mine. Mine had the fault and was repaired without me even realising anything was wrong. Got a £50 voucher and they gave me a free pushchair to keep too. Such good service compared to mothercare.

Clarabell100 · 28/04/2018 22:39

It was the cybex aton q we had too. Pushing the buttons and having to lift he handle at the same time was difficult unless there was two of you. It did loosen off and get a bit easier eventually. I guess that will only be an issue of you get one of the package deals from M&P as they always include that car seat. And actually it’s a great seat aside from that one issue!

I’ve read reviews that say the same as a pp about the basket sagging but I’ve never had that issue and my basket is always loaded with shopping!

whoami24601 · 29/04/2018 10:28

So avoid the cybex then I guess! We won't be getting a package. We ant really afford it, plus I want a sling initially so won't need the carry cot attachment. I'm looking at buying a reconditioned pushchair and new car seat separately. Ooh I love pram shopping!

Clarabell100 · 29/04/2018 11:09

With the flip I don’t think you really need the carrycot part anyway as I’m sure the pushchair lies completely flat so can be used from birth. I did like the carrycot, I have to say. My dd fell asleep in it really well which is always good!

whoami24601 · 29/04/2018 17:45

Yeah I asked and they said the pushchair is suitable from newborn anyway. So no real need for a carrycot I guess! With DS I had a sling until he was about 4 months, which I loved, so am looking to do that again. Will obviously need a pushchair eventually though!

Ok so I finally bought this yesterday. When I’ve used it today thoughthe handle feels a little wobbly. Not dangerously so, just it moves a little when I’m pushing. Is this normal? It’s not a problem as such, but want to check if I need to be taking it back or if they all do it! Thanks
