After weeks of trawling the talkboards, talking to parents and researching bestsellers we put the top lightweight strollers on the market through their paces to find the best buggies for parents.

We made sure to cover a variety of terrains (pavement, dry bumpy grassland, soft, wet ground and up a steep incline) over at least 80km. We also put them through their paces for ease of lifting up and down stairs, manoeuvrability in doorways and narrow spaces, turning circle and the speed with which they can be collapsed and opened.

We have the reflex. It was more expensive than most strollers at around the £200 mark but definitely worth it.

I'd suggest checking bags for baby strollers. Your going to need it if you want to go at a vocation with your kid. It's actually not that bad as it seems to be but it's a pain without a bag for a stroller. thechangingtables.com/baby-stroller-travel-bag/
