Recommendation for double travel system

Hi,
Does anybody have any recommendations for a double travel system, suitable for a newborn and a 2 year old? I'd prefer to have a side-by-side. One side needs to be adaptable to be carry cot, but eventually, when dd1 stops wanting to go in the buggy, I'll need to convert it to single seat.
Many thanks

I think the bugaboo donkey is the only side by side that converts to a single (though I’m not sure it goes as narrow as a regular single); youd need a tandem (various icandies, baby jogger select...) or a single that has the option to add a seat (uppababy vista ...).
I’d just get a regular side by side, second hand to save money if necessary, then a stroller for when DC1 has outgrown the buggy. I wouldn’t want to be manoeuvring a heavy single (the tandem to single buggies are all pretty heavy) while trying to keep control of a toddler.
