I think I bought the wrong pram!

I bought the Mothercare Xpedior pram in the sale a couple of months back. Loved it at the time but having got it out and tried it with the car seat and the carrycot, I don’t like the way the car seat sits in it, it seems really low. And googling it, loads of people are unhappy with the car seat. I looked at adaptors so I could put a maxi cosi seat on but they don’t seem to do them for the Xpedior. I doubt I could take the pram back now, so I’ve pribably wasted money.
Has anyone got this pram? Will I regret buying it when baby comes??

Just don’t put the car seat on it? Babies aren’t meant to be in them for extended periods anyway.

I know, that’s my thought. I don’t like seeing babies in them which is the reasoning my DH reminds me of every time I have doubts. But sometimes it would be really useful just to nip somewhere for 5-10 minutes.
I’m probably being daft, and just need someone other than DH to say so!

Buying a pram is super stressful and I don't think there is any such thing as the perfect one so don't stress too much. If you only intend to put the car seat on it for very quick trips I think you will be ok. You could try to return it as it's not been used?? They might be accommodating and let you swap?? Otherwise don't worry I'm sure it will be fine and you will get used to it.

My child will only be in the first stage car seat for a short time and by the time your baby I here you will only be concerned if it is practical.

There is no perfect pram

I am with other posters, there is no perfect pram for every scenario, we purchased a travel system also from mothercare, when within a few weeks a really light stroller for times I wanted to take the bus into the city. Then another buggy for my husbands car, as we often forgot to transfer the pram out of my car! And then within 20months we purchased a twin mountain buggy as DS2 had arrived!
