Pram - buy now or wait until Boxing Day sales?

We’re looking to buy the UPPAbaby Vista 2017 (we’re due Feb 2017). I’ve been hunting around online and have found it for £100 less than we were quoted in store.

Do you think that’s the best we’ll find or is it worth the gamble and waiting until the Boxing Day sales to see what offers are around then?

Wondering whether anyone out there went through this last year/got an amazing deal on Boxing Day?

I have a Vista (2015 though!) and it's rarely discounted. I think I got 10% off when I bought mine because the website was offering 10% on all purchases. I'd probably take the £100 off but then don't look at the sales!

I'd buy it now with the £100 off!

Thanks @teaandbiscuitsforme and @ineednewshoes - We’ve managed to get a price match on it which is guaranteed for 28 days so we’re going to see what the sales look like and then go with that if it’s the best option (which I recon it will be).

Surely! I'd go for £100 off... as a much lesser price is highly unlikely even on boxing day. Grab your chance when you can.

Hi @excitedbutterrified where did you find the deal? I'm also due in Feb 2018 and would love to get the vista but the £££ price is pushing it slightly out of reach. 100 pounds off could make it more affordable!

The uppababy is £170 off at mothercare at the moment-just in 2 colours but £679 for the burgundy or £779 for the pale blue with the leather handle.
However, it's also £100 off at JL with £100 off a maxi cosi car seat-so potentially a better saving if you want different colours or need a car seat.

Amazon has a lightning deal on the vista pushchair with carrycot in Navy for £499, don’t know if that is any better than your deal OP.

I’d always get something big like a pram from a store so it’s easier to return under warranty if you have problems.

Great spot @hotcookie! We’ve just gone for that JL deal. Exciting times! I didn’t think the Vista was covered in the car seat deal as it’s already £100 off but tried the discount code and it worked. £200 saving overall so very happy!

@moggle - thanks for the tip off. Amazing offer on Amazon but it looks like that’s the pre-2017 Vista which isn’t the one we were after (bit bulkier apparently).

@ExcitedButTerrified JL will price match the Mothercare offer (maybe only if you buy one of the reduced colours) AND give you the car seat offer. Guess what I went for

hotcookie, I just wanted to say thank you for pointing out the JL deal on the Uppababy Vista. I put in a price match claim online last night and they changed the price to the Mothercare price straight away. I only saw because I looked at it again this morning, they hadn’t emailed me to confirm! Thankfully I managed to get it before it went out of stock, and get the car seat deal. It forced my hand as I was dithering between this one and the Nuna Mixx deal in Mothercare.
