Thule chariot as everyday double stroller

I'm getting a Thule Chariot Lite 2 bike trailer/stroller soon. I think all the Chariot range are the same size, except the obvious difference between single and double. My version is a double. I was wondering If anyone out there has a Chariot and how it is as an everyday stroller. Can you get it through doors, round the supermarket, into the park etc? I'm hoping if it's any good I could sell my current double pram.

I've got the single. I think when I got it the wheel span was slightly different though, I'm sure we went for the single as it was narrower.

It can be used as a pram going round shops but I only used it when cycling somewhere as it was massive when collapsed compared to the city jogger we have. It was too big for most coffee shops and some smaller shops so I generally left it chained up outside those.

It's fine in supermarkets and easy to push in the park

Haven't seen what you are discussing but a true chariot would have those spikes on the side - be a bonus for getting round the shops!!

We've got a single Cougar. I absolutely love it, handles well, very comfy for DD, great for jogging and cycling, however I took it around a shopping centre a few times and it's bloody massive. I definitely just use it for outdoors things. Also, even with it collapsed and no front wheel/bike arm etc I needed to remove the handlebar to get it in my volvo estate boot! Shock

Sorry you're talking about the Cougar lite but mine is a Cougar Chariot!

Oh, sorry I missed that. Mine is the chariot, not the chariot lite.

I have a chariot double.
It is a beast.
Ok as an occasional use stroller, but wouldn't be my sole/regular pushchair

So I've now got it. It's fab and I think it will replace my current double (out n about nipper 360). It fits through my front door, fits in the car boot and goes round the supermarket. Otherwise, for going round town I usually use a single pram and a sling. Thanks for all your replies x
