Phil & Ted Smart Lux a pile of crap, or is it just mine?

We bought the Phil & Ted Smart Lux online (I know, I know). Is it a pile of crap? Ours rattles and veers like an old supermarket trolley, the break clicks all the time and has to keep being adjusted, it's a nightmare tightening the harness straps - just an awful, awful pushchair!

But of course we've spent money on it so DP won't hear of us buying something else now (baby is nearly 8 months and I'm only now reaching the end of my tether with the damn thing). I'm basically on pram strike because I hate it so much and take her everywhere in the sling, but she's over 8kg and doing my back in!

Am I being precious or is it a shot pram? Or just a particularly shit unit???

I've not got this model but our Phil and Teds was bought second hand and is still in great nick. You've only had it 8 months, contact them with details and see what they say

Thanks for replying - Glad to hear yours is ok! Bought it from Winstanleys rather than directly from P and T - would they still be the ones to ask?

Yeah maybe go to them first although they might refer you to Phil and Teds

👍 cheers! Trying it today without the nappy bag attached and its a lot better.... Maybe my nappy bag is just stupidly heavy???

I would definitely contact them. I have a love hate relationship with p&ts and brought few of the accessories for my p&ts classic pram. Their costumer services is excellent, they replaced my defected carry cot brought from online4baby with no problems. I made a video of my issue which helped explaining the problem.
