Joie Muze travel system with Maxi Cosi Cabriofix

I'm in need of a buggy/pram that can take a Maxi Cosi car seat and I really like the Joie Muze travel system. Does anyone know whether it fits directly or with adaptors?

Before we get into that discussion: I'm not planning to use this feature for any length of time as I'm aware that infants shouldn't be left in car seats for longer than 30mins.

Hi there

The travel system does come with a car seat that just clips straight on to the frame. I know that the Joie car seats can be attached to loads of other pushchairs with Maxi Cosi adapters but I'm afraid I don't think a MC car seat would attach to the Muze... I haven't tried it though so this is not really a helpful reply is it?! Could you visit a shop which stocks both and try it out? Or take your MC car seat with you?

Thank you! I think we're gong to have to check it out in Mothercare...

I got this reply from Joie directly, which is not exactly helping:
I am afraid we do not test other manufacturers car seats on our strollers so we can't t advise of their use.
Kindest regards
Joie Baby

Also, the fact that their car seats can be attached to other pushchairs with MC adaptors makes me think they should fit on their strollers...

I think it's a different part of the car seat that clips on to the buggy, than the bits which clip into the adapters though! It's probably time they all had universal fittings; like a mobile charger that would fit any phone!!
