New Maclaren Volo - the slits which the lap belt goes through..

Does anyone reading this have the newer 2016 volo with the extra extendable white hood and grey wheels?

Please can you tell me (if you have one of these) whether the holes in the seat material which allow the lap belt to be fed through (from the back to the front of the buggy)--- do the two holes in the material have 'reinforced' edges of some sort?

Mine has been in use by my sil for a while and I've only just realised that the belt hole is like just a 'vertical tear' in the material' and wondered if it's supposed to be like this .. Or otherwise? It doesn't seem quite right to me..

Picture attached (can take a closer one if needed)

Many thanks in advance

Yep. Mine is the 2016 model and is like this. I've just checked!

Thanks SO much pixiemeat for replying- you've saved me a lot of anguish! Really appreciate your time ..

As for the design 'flaw'- how bizarre'.. You'd think they'd put at least some kinda rubber edge or even stitching around the slits..

No problem!

I hadn't actually noticed it and I've had it a year! But it gets pretty heavy use and hasn't torn or anything so hopefully that reassures you :)
