Buying an ICandy Peach/Pear 2 in parts

If someone can make this easy for my poor simple mind to grasp it would be much appreciated.
I want to buy a double buggy that can also be used as a single. Like the look of the ICandy, but v. v. v. out of our budget. Thought I might do it in stages, so buy chassis and single seat first (until DC2 arrives) then carrycot, then second seat when it's needed. Plus it looks as if I could save a bit more by getting some of them second hand.
But I don't understand. What is the difference between peach and pear? What is apple 2 pear?
Can I buy a regular ICandy seat, and an apron set, and use them on the double?
I don't know if I'm just being a bit dim or if it is very confusing to make me spend more money I hope it's mostly the latter

If anyone could help me with a list of bits I need, plus the type of fruit they need to be, I'll be eternally grateful for the sake of my sanity.

Hiya! I have the Icandy peach. Bought it at the start of this year. We bought the pushchair with the main seat and then, separately, bought the blossom carrycot. It is the smaller carrycot which can sit on the bottom as a double with the seat on top, but can also be used on the top as a single. (The main carrycot cannot go on the bottom)

We haven't bought the second seat yet, not sure we need it!

The pear is the apple turned into a tandem. Just like the peach is single and the peach blossom is the same but turned into a double. Apple turned into a double is the pear.

I have the apple, and then added the extra seat to make it a pear!

I've heard prices have been lowered by iCandy for the new year to help with current economy, not sure if this helps with budget or picking up items from the spares. I know the Apple 2 Pear is a great price at the moment.
