Has anyone tried the mountain buggy +one (2015 version)?

I have recently found out that I am expecting our second child. Age gap will be 27 months. Being the obsessive type I am already researching double buggies and have found it to be a bit of a minefield to say the least! Nothing I've found seems without compromise, but the +one seems to tick quite a few options (converts back to single easily, compatible with kiddy car seat, all terrain, good storage, single footprint). Just a bit hard to get my head around it without seeing it in person (nearest shop that has it is quite a drive away), and wondered if anyone has experience of using it and how they have got on?

I haven't. But by 27 months neither of mine used a pram at all. We had a 15 month gap and just used a buggy board until around 2years. Then they walked.

Could you just get a buggy board?

I'm not sure if the pre 2015 is the same but a friend hated it as the front seat can't recline, and the back seat only sat up or laid newborn flat, no middle ground

I think the new version is better than the old, but I am still not sure I would get one from birth. It's better for two older children ie maybe 9-12 months onwards. It is a brilliant pushchair, and I think if you think through all the configurations ie where each child would be, and when, and you really want to make it work, then you would. It does depend a lot how precious you are about your children (if that doesn't sound rude). I made the +One work for us, but I know it doesn't for everyone. My biggest problem in the end was that DD had giant feet and eventually couldn't get her feet in the footbag in the rear. She was too tall for the front seat at that stage. One of my saddest sales.
