Best lie-flat cheap buggy for holiday?

Anyone got any recommendations? I don't fancy taking our main pushchair and our normal travel buggy doesn't lie flat, which we will now need as we've just had a newborn. All thoughts appreciated - thanks.

There are some Maclarens which are lightweight and lie completely flat.

We have a maclaren quest which lies flat and is still comfy enough for my 3.5 year old (although I think a techno xt or xlr would be lighter to push as they have bigger wheels). Good holiday buggy and plenty available on eBay if you don't want to buy new.

Agree Maclaren is a good choice if you can pick one up second hand. The hood bit goes very low down too so good for shade and sleep, and still great when they are older too

We bought a cheap Nuna one when we took our DD on her first holiday (4 months) because we didn't want to spend much since we also had a brand new icandy. Although it did the job, she outgrew it really quickly and it was hard work to push, so we ended up having to buy a Maclaren earlier this year when we went away (just before she was 2)...we should have just got one in the first place!
