Brand new pram discounts!

Has anyone ever bought a new pram from a shop and got a decent discount? Looking to buy an icandy Peach and indexing if it's worth waiting till January Incase anywhere has them in a slight sale??

Can usually do a deal if you buy lots at once, we got car seat, base and travel system from an independent with a pretty good discount. Don't think you need to wait for seasonal sales times.

As PP said you're best bet is to go to your local independent baby shop and ask if they will do a bundle deal on pushchair, carrycot, car seat and base or whichever items you need and compare against online. The independents are usually far more flexible on deals than the big high street names. We got our isofix base and Cabriofix half price because we had the pushchair from our local shop.

You are more likely to get a deal if you buy a car seat because of the difference in VAT rate on pushchairs and car seats. It is rare for iCandy pushchairs to be sold off cheap - it is usually around the time a new colour comes out, and the best deals are usually on the iCandy website themselves, although John Lewis had a sale recently.
I wouldn't say January was the time to buy though a 'sale' item. Unfortunately there's no plans to change the Peach colours for a while - they tend to go on 2 year cycles - so 2018 for the Peach.

There's a shop I know that are no longer stocking icandy so have reduced the products done to get rid. There's nothing wrong with them, just don't want to continue selling.

Do very.co.uk sell them?

We bought our Uppababy from them as they gave 20% off for opening a new account with them, and we don't have to pay it until next year.

Couldn't get anything like that level of discount anywhere else.
