New Pushchairs for 2017

Is anyone else excited at all the new pushchairs coming out of the show at Cologne? There's a lot of single to tandem pushchairs which is fantastic news for those who will need a pushchair which will grow into a double pushchair: The Silver Cross Wave; the Mee-Go Du-o; the iCandy Orange with a built in ride-on board; the Easywalker Harvey (probably not in the UK) and the new Baby Jogger City Select Lux with an extra jump seat for a third child!
There's also new single pushchairs too - Easywalker Mosey+, 2 new iCandy Peaches, new Strawberriers, and a new sit down board for the Babyzen YoYo.
Wow!

What have you spotted that you like the look of?

Are there any all terrain parent facing prams yet? Lighter and smaller folding than the bugaboo buffalo?

Artandco · 18/09/2016 17:23

In my ideal world they need the bugaboo bee, that has the option to take wheels off and add larger wheels for use in the snow.

Everything that works in snow, is ginormous in everyday life for travel, around town in summer, shops, in car etc

Oooo what are the new easywalkers?

Ours has been away to get fixed (stones in the brake) and I've missed it so much - really made me appreciate what a great buggy it is

Were there any light, compact, reversible with a true one hand fold?

TheHubblesWindscreenWipers · 18/09/2016 17:46

And yeah, agree with art - we live in Sweden so need decent wheels for winter.

The mosey isn't quite perfect. It's damn good, mind, but... It needs better suspension (or perhaps pop on/off winter tyres) a better fold, a peekaboo window, the handlebar to flip up and down OR fold in further to make the fold more compact. If they could shave say two kg off it whist keeping that amazing stability it'd be great.
Almost perfect. It amazes me how silly things get past the design stage though - there are things which must surely have been noticeable during testing?

The icandy Orange sounds great, but at £800 is expect it to be! I hope the built in buggy board filters down to mid-price buggies...

The Hubble - have you seen the new emmaljunga NXT90? The wheels could do with being a little bigger maybe for snow but they seem big enough for a little, and the feature of the prams winter liners etc are lovely. Folds smallish

Artandco · 19/09/2016 10:21

Oh and it can add a seat to become a double also

TheHubblesWindscreenWipers · 19/09/2016 11:06

Yeah I have! It kind of reminded me of the buffalo a bit.
We have a big emmaljunga for winter and walks from the house - they're brilliant for that but they're an absolute sod to fold.
