Probably a silly question about a Phil and Ted soort

Have just got a second hand one of these having found it for £20 in a charity shop. It seemed like a bargain I couldn't pass up

My stupid question is though : Google tells me that the baby will lie flat and the toddler seat goes on top, but I can't work out how to attach the seat to the top of the lie flat bit for the toddler to sit in. Does that make sense?

Anyone with one who can enlighten me?

You will need the "elbows" to attach the small seat to the top. They go into the same hole as the bumper bar and the seat goes on them
