bugaboo buggy board recommendations

Hi

I want to get a buggy board for my 2.5 yr old- there are lots of second hand ones for sale but they seem to be the older ones for standing and I see the new one has seat on it.

Just wondered if people have views on with or without the seat?

My youngest is now 9, so things have probably moved on since then, but I had a Bugaboo Chameleon and used a Lascal buggy board with it.
