Are iCandy systems interchangeable?

I have a second hand iCandy Apple which has a fault on the frame causing it to collapse when I push it. Therefore I need a new frame. I am unsure whether I can purchase another style of frame (say a Cherry) and still use the carrycot etc I have for the Apple? The fact they all can take the Maxi Cosi car seat (with adaptors) makes me think that it might be possible?

The adopters are all different, so the carrycot won't fit another frame I dont think.

Are you able to visit a store and try it out?
