Small off road buggy recommendations

I really want a second buggy that will be good for taking camping. It therefore needs to be as compact as possible for packing in a very overfull car but also good off-road.

We already have a vista, which is too big and a second-hand maclaren, which is completely rubbish on e.g. gravel paths. I reeeaaally want a baby jogger city mini GT but it is just too expensive- around £200 second hand from what I can see!

A quick Google search brings up a mountain buggy mini, a hauck viper or an out and about nipper single. Does anyone have any experience of any of these and particularly which might be the smallest when folded?

Would it not be easier to get a sling? Can go off road easily then and up stairs/ over styes etc.
Get a soft structured one. Baby would go on front of small, after around 9months they go on your back until 3-4 years if needed. And if toddling age they can walk as far as possible and your hands free, then just in sling when tired

Ooh I do have several slings! Am very into carrying! Just thinking to be able to have the option of her having a nap not strapped to me once in a while!

I would probably just take a sling and a blanket to nap on ground then. For what sounds like a few weeks only it would be a waste of money.

Otherwise have you considered selling the vista and the maclaren, and then just replacing with the city mini gt you want?

Baby jogger city mini (non gt) would do the trick if you can find one cheap enough. It won't go mega off road but is fine on gravel and paths and grass etc

The nipper is a fab all round buggy. Tackles sand, snow,gravel, mud,grass no problem and is a dream to push. It's not small, though may be smaller than some others. Back wheels come off very easily and then its pretty flat. Do you have a roof box? With a buggy and huge tent, don't think we could have done it without.
