Hi all. I’m after some advice on my buggy shortlist. I need something good for tall people (husband and I both 6tf plus) and I really like the models where the baby sits up high. I live in London but I'm not expecting to be on the tube/buses lots though do want something I can use in cafes/shops easily and that is also up to a walk in the country park or canal towpath (but not serious off-roading).
My shortlist was Joolz Day, Uppababy Vista and the Mutsy Evo. I ruled out the Stokke Xplory as even though I loved the seat height I understand it’s not great on uneven terrain (and it’s expensive!). I’ve seen the Joolz and loved it, really didn’t like the look of the Uppababy in the shop (and think it might be a bit too wide for my hallway) and haven’t been able to get to a Mutsy stockist yet. The shop assistant also recommended the Icandy Peach on the seat raisers which I loved too but was worried the seat looked a bit small (I’m assuming I’m going to have a LONG child!). He also recommended the Bugaboo Chameleon which I didn't like.
I’m pretty much sold on the Joolz, but having only been to one shop so far for a quick look I feel like I should look around a bit more before I buy something. Or perhaps I should just go for it! Are there any other models I should be considering that have such a high seat position and reasonable suspension? And is the Peach really worth that much more than the Joolz? I’ve seen a discounted end of line colour in the Joolz which means I could get a new one but feel that once you add in the cot and extras the Peach is a stretch too far and I would look to get one second hand. Any thoughts on the models I’m considering or suggestions gratefully received!
