Mountain buggy nano

Hi, I wondered if anyone has the mountain buggy nano and how you're finding it?

My daughter is 2.5 but has only been walking 6 months so we use the buggy a lot.

We have a city mini at our house and a Maclaren quest at my mum's as she looks after daughter when I'm at work.

I've been using quest on holiday recently and now the city mini feels bulky. However as my daughter is 13.5kg the quest feels heavy to push and I really prefer a single bar rather than 2 handles. Wondered if I should sell both and buy the nano instead. I would need something with a small fold as mums boot tiny.

My daughter still naps in the pram of we're out and about so hoping the nano would be comfy. I love the hood on the city mini and even out quest has extendable hood so would nano hood be rubbish in comparison?

We're going to try and find somewhere to test it out but think it'll be a bit of a journey as nowhere local has it.

Does she need recline to nap? I'd look at a baby jogger zip.

I hate my nano. I really wouldn't recommend it.

The wheels randomly fall off, the hood is small, the hood rubs your hands when up, the handle "wobbles", the wheels have worn at an angle within 6 months the whole thing feels flimsy. Wish we'd tried it before we bought it. Also my DS is only 20 months (and is tall) but looks huge in it, his feet and bottom of his legs hang off. Not a lot of space underneath either.

The only good thing is how small it folds but it's a bugger to get in the bag. And rain over is nearly impossible to fold back into the small bag it comes in.

I would look at the babyzen yoyo. They hold better value so you can easily sell it a year down the line. Mainly as they are certified as hand luggage size on planes and the nano isn't

She doesn't need the recline to nap but naps longer with a recline. We'd like to have another baby reasonably soon too so recline would be good.

I've not really looked at the yoyo much but will investigate Art.

The zip is brilliant - lie flat recline, folds like a squatter version of the quest and has a nice sturdiness that I think some of the really small folding buggies lack. It's suitable from birth (lie flat option or takes a car seat) and is just brill. The review on the bestbuggy website features an older child so you can see the size. Yeah we got it for the storage benefit but it is so not worth it, luckily my DS will walk 90% of the time. And they are really bad dealing with the complaints of the wheels falling off.

Been out to see pushchairs today in gale force winds and driving rain (great fun )

Loved the zip and think we'll trade both pushchairs in for this. Like that I can use it with small baby if necessary in the future (not as main pram as have a hand me down bugaboo frog up the loft) but handy that it'll work for baby and toddler.

The zip seat is about same size as city mini but hood gets in the way less (maybe because it's Lycra style). It feels slightly smaller than city mini and I prefer the 4 wheels to 3 so a winner all round really. Thank you for the suggestion HufflePuffin
