Light weight pushchair

Hi all :)
I'm looking for a light weight pushchair (doesn't have to be anything special). My daughter is 3 years old but she has global development and has only just started walking. I live in London and use public transport regularly. I currently own the mamas and papas armadillo which is a little heavy to carry up and down train station stairs as well as my daughter and my bag. If anyone can recommend a lightweight stroller that is easy to fold and carry I would really appreciate it.

Thankyou :)

A baby jogger city mini is the easiest to fold. It's not the lightest but the fold handle makes it really easy to carry one handed, and the seat is nice and big. The city lite is lighter but I can't remember of the seat is as big - have a look at the review on best buggy (the site is down at the moment for some reason).

Or some of the maclaren type buggies come with a shoulder strap? I don't know if that would be helpful.

Thankyou I will definitely look them up :)

I was looking at the quinny yezz or maybe the mountain buggy nano...
I'm not to sure but I would like one with a shoulder strap that would be a lot easier :)

I have a maclaran quest. It's pretty light and I can fold it one handed. But it's nice and sturdy too.

I think you should try them out. Our city mini is great but I personally don't think it's light or small enough for regularly carrying up and down flights of stairs. Have a look at the baby jogger zip, though depends what your budget is. A bonus of the baby joggers is that they are a good size for older toddlers. But of course there's then a trade off with weight...

Babyzen yoyo is great for London if a bit pricey

Thank you for all your suggestions, I really like the look of the baby jogger zip, do you know if it has a carry handle by any chance? If sat my little girl in the babyzen yoyo in mothercare and she looked really big in it. (even though I loved it) my husband was complaining that she was too big for it. But thankyou :)

The zip doesn't officially have a carry handle but you can carry it easily by the fold strap - I have one and it's great. There was a problem with the brake so the manufacturer has to replace that but the pushchair itself is brill. I like how high the seat is.

Ah yes, the yoyo is quite small sorry, I didn't think about that Blush

I've been looking at the maclaren volo and the mark II they are both super light!
